I recently found a USB drive that I've had since high school. On it was a corrupted copy of Zaxar. Seeing how crazy the code was inspired me to try to do something better. I want it to be a big learning experince so I'm writing my own engine from the ground up. As for gameplay, I'm really interested in some emergent mechanics, specifically bouncing bullets. I also want it to be very fast pace in the vein of Hotline Miami.

I've been able to convince a couple of my coworkers to contribute as well. Please check the github contributors for a full list.
